On 10-11 February 2009, I participated in the Workshop on Ageing and Gender in Southeast Asia held at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) in Singapore. I presented another co-authored paper with Professor Wade D. Pfau (GRIPS), namely "A Gender Perspective on Elderly Work in Vietnam". Papers on other countries in the SEA region were also shared and discussed. A book gathering all papers from the workshop will be published in this year.
